Could our travelling button be coming to your local area?

Our Push for Action campaign has always focused on ensuring adults with autism get the everyday support they need in their area.  To mark this momentous effort from the autism community – who are raising awareness of existing challenges and how to solve them – we’ve created a giant travelling button!

The giant red button is a symbol of our campaign and a message to the Government and your council to get on with ending the wait for support. It will travel across England with the names of all those supporters who have so far joined the campaign and form the centrepiece at a variety of small events being organised by our branches and partner organisations. These events will generate increased media and political awareness, culminating with the button and all the petition signatories being presented to 10 Downing Street on 31 October.

We’re still finalising timings –  if you would like to find out more about an event in your local area (and whether it’s open to the public) please email campaign@nas.org.uk. You can also follow the progress of our button – and the daring staff and volunteers who’ll be making sure it arrives safely – on Facebook and Twitter.

Don’t forget to add your name to the button by signing your local area petition.
